Last year was one of our most productive years, but we are keeping our eyes on the new year and what God has in store for our ministry. Currently,The Missionary Adventures of Tommy & Tammy Roberts is undergoing final editing and we are nearly done with our first-ever "baby" book entitled: What I Can Do! / What God Can Do!

The advent of the Internet, along with smart phones, has changed the publishing industry dramatically over the last two decades. When I first began writing over 30 years ago a fledgling author would polish-up their best manuscript and ship it off to as many publishers as they thought would be interested in their work (and a few they knew were long-shots; but hey, why not send it anyway). Some insisted on a query letter first, just to make sure you were reaching the right publisher for your material. But times have changed! Now very few publishers want manuscripts. Even query letters find scant approval. Most publishers are looking for manuscript proposals. These often lengthy solicitations involve an overview of the manuscript; a Table of Contents with chapter overviews; how the author intends to promote the book and the audience he or she is trying to reach; the background of the author; similar books on the market; and then details and specifics about the manuscript. To be honest, my first short-story was only half the length of my latest proposal. But even this method is now becoming outdated. Publishers are now exhorting authors to upload their manuscripts and résumés onto specific websites where they can be reviewed and the author contacted by email if the publisher is interested. These sites vary in cost to utilize but they are decidedly more expensive than mailing a manuscript. The advantage? For the writer very little, but we can be sure the days of publishing house readers sitting behind mountains of unsolicited manuscripts piled high on their desks are a thing of the past.
The Internet has revolutionized writing. Now everyone now has an outlet for their thoughts…blogging, personal websites, twitter, facebook, and ebooks are all available outlets for our thoughts, wisdom, and imaginations. But with all that said, there is still a need, whether in electronic format or on paper, for good books to benefit people spiritually and to spread the gospel message of Jesus Christ. So to this end I dedicate all my writings.
